Kotoba Loop turns Japanese study into an arcade loop-drawing game. Japanese and English words float across the map; draw a loop around a word, then loop its partner to match them.
The study deck runs from hiragana and katakana through beginner (JLPT N5) and elementary (N4) vocabulary. A sentence-builder mode has you loop pieces in order to assemble Japanese sentences, covering は/が, を/に/で, verb tenses, adjectives, て-form and invitations.
Stages keep things lively with FEVER streaks, REVERSE stages, 60-second RUSH rounds and a boss every 5 stages. A daily goal and streak system, a "Mastered!" mark after two correct answers, and your own custom word list round out the practice loop. Pronunciation uses your device's text-to-speech, and progress saves locally in your browser.
How to Play
Draw a loop around a Japanese word, then loop its English partner (or the matching kana/romaji). Clear the stage targets to advance; every 5 stages a boss waits. Use the sentence-builder to loop grammar pieces in the correct order. Set a daily goal, keep your streak alive, and grow your own word list as you master terms.
Controls
Mouse – draw loops around words
Touch – draw with your finger on mobile
