About Appendages Akimbo
Appendages Akimbo is a comic, choice-driven race adventure made with the &* authoring tool for 100 Games Later. You play an anxious runner preparing for a big race, and even taking a few steps becomes a struggle with your own limbs. Get dressed, warm up or visit a sports shop before stepping onto the track.
The race resolves through actions for individual arms and legs rather than direct movement. Equipment can strengthen particular limbs at the cost of tenacity, while failed actions can chip away at pride. Success means coordinating enough successful leg movements to complete the three-step finish before your runner gives up.
How to Play
Prepare for the race by getting dressed, warming up or visiting the shop. During the race, choose actions for individual arms and legs; successful leg movements advance you toward the three-step finish. Skill checks, tenacity and pride affect whether you can recover from awkward failures.

Tips & Tricks
Get dressed before visiting the track or shop to avoid the documented embarrassment penalty. Extending an arm lowers the difficulty of moving the opposite leg. Compare the skill bonuses and tenacity penalties of race gear before spending your limited money.
