One mouse. Twenty levels. Only one of them is you.
Move your mouse. They all move. One of them moves like you. The rest are mirrors, echoes, rotations and liars. Your real cursor is hidden: the only way to find yourself is to feel it. As the developer puts it, psychologists call it the "sense of agency" — you know which body is yours because it does what you meant, a split second after you meant it — and this game plays with that.
Twenty levels, six kinds of reflection, one hand, zero words. Find yourself among mirrors, echoes that repeat you half a second late, twins moving at half and double speed, a shell game and a crowd of twelve almost-yous. Then use yourself: send your reflection for the star, stand on the plate so it can walk through the door, let your echoes die on the cracked walls, and let your past self hold the door open for you.
Every time you die, that attempt stays behind as a see-through cursor replaying exactly what you did — and at the end, all of them come back. There is no download: it plays instantly in your browser. The developer recommends turning the sound on. Made by raxeris.
How to Play
Move the mouse and every cursor on screen moves with it. Your goal is to work out which one is the real you, then act on it: the level usually asks you to send a reflection for the star, stand on the plate so it can walk through the door, let your echoes die on the cracked walls, or let your past self hold the door open for you. Because the true cursor only identifies itself through timing, you have to feel which one responds to your intention — the mirrors are exact, the echoes lag half a second, the twins move at half and double speed, and the crowd gives you twelve almost-yous to sift through. Dying is not a reset: the attempt is left behind as a translucent replay of exactly what you did, and at the end all of those ghosts return.
Controls
Move – Mouse (touch: drag anywhere)
Mute – M
Give up this attempt – R
Tips & Tricks
Trust the feel, not the picture: the real cursor is the one that acts on what you meant a split second later, so watch the lag rather than the shape.
The echoes repeat you half a second late and the twins move at half and double speed, so speed alone will not identify you.
Dying is not a reset — the attempt stays behind as a replay and comes back at the end, so use R to give up an attempt when a dead end is worse than a ghost.
The developer explicitly recommends playing with sound on.
