Paragra is a 2D arcade paragliding game. Find thermals, climb under clouds, and fly cross-country from site to site. Read the sky, stay in the air, and don't land in a field too early.
Start with a paragliding course. Your instructor, Pan Henio, has a mustache, patience, and no mercy. Pass the course to unlock XC flights and competitions.
Thermals grow, clouds build up, and some of them start to rain. Ridge wind lifts you up, and it gets rough behind obstacles. Sites include Mieroszów, Żar and Piła in Poland, Bassano in Italy, and Algodonales in Spain. The controls are deliberately simple: one button to turn, one for the speed bar, both for a spiral. Languages: English, Polish.
This is an early demo. Bugs included. Feedback is welcome in the comments — the developer says he has had this game in his head for years, tried many times and made a lot of prototypes, and that this time it finally worked.
How to Play
Start with the paragliding course, where instructor Pan Henio teaches you the basics. Once you pass it you unlock cross-country flights and competitions. In the air, use rising thermals to climb under the clouds, ride ridge wind along the slopes, and read the weather ahead — clouds build up, and some of them start to rain. Cross the country from site to site without landing in a field too early.

Tips & Tricks
Ride the thermals before you sink out — climbing under a cloud is what buys you the distance to the next site.
Watch for building clouds: some of them start to rain.
Ridge wind lifts you, but it gets rough behind obstacles, so do not hug the terrain on the way through.
The developer calls this an early demo with bugs included — expect rough edges and leave feedback in the comments.
