To Find A Home takes the found-family-among-monsters premise and gives it real texture — the roommates are written as people first and love interests second, and the personality system means the house genuinely responds to who you decide to be. The 40-50 minute demo is a well-measured appetizer for the planned 10-hour full game, and the queerplatonic romance option is a welcome touch most visual novels skip.
About To Find A Home [DEMO]
You've just been evicted, and the only bed available tonight is at 137 Moonlit Avenue — a haunted house whose residents are a gentle vampire with a ghostly best friend, an exiled witch, an easygoing werewolf, a snarky dandy ghost and a demon cat. To Find A Home is a supernatural visual novel about flirting, bantering and arguing your way through the curse that hangs over the house — and maybe finding a new family among its outcasts.
Character creation is flexible: choose your gender, pronouns, name and the genders of your love interests. Dialogue choices shape your personality — friendly, shy, bold or grumpy — and the cast responds to who you become. Romance can unfold as love and passion at first sight, slow burn or queerplatonic, or you can play it as a friendship story about finding your place in the world.
The demo runs about 40-50 minutes per playthrough (roughly two hours if you chase every variation) with multiple endings: break the curse or fall to it, move in or leave, romance someone or don't. The full game is planned at 10+ hours of content. Font size customization is available in the options menu.
Content note from the developer: the demo includes a mild injury, a vague and brief mention of past self-harm from a romance option, characters arguing about a serious harmful accident, a haunted house that overrides characters' self-preservation instincts, and sexually suggestive content if you choose to engage with it.
How to Play
Read through scenes and pick dialogue options that shape your personality — friendly, shy, bold or grumpy — while getting to know the house's residents. Question what the house tells you to resist its curse, and let your choices steer which of the multiple endings you reach.

Tips & Tricks
Choices build your personality, so commit to a voice — the cast responds differently to a bold witch than a shy one.
Question what the house tells you; resisting the curse is its own thread through the story.
Branches are wide: romance flavors, endings and roommate dynamics vary enough that a second run feels like a different night.
