About ClueRoll
ClueRoll combines English wordplay with a spatial board puzzle. First identify the word suggested by a common link, double definition, missing link or analogy. Then move six-faced letter cubes so their top faces spell that word in the answer slots. A roll changes a cube’s orientation, and correctly placed letters lock.
Daily completions award four fixed fragments for a separate weekly phrase. Released puzzles remain in an archive, and progress is saved in the current browser when storage is available. The game requires no download or account; saves do not sync across devices.
How to Play
Read the clue and work out a candidate word. Select a cube, place it at a valid entrance, and roll it through unoccupied cells until the required letter faces up in its slot. Complete every slot to earn the day’s fragments. Use those fragments with the weekly clue to assemble the weekly phrase.
Controls
Use a mouse or touch controls to select and place cubes and operate directional buttons. The site also supports keyboard play; the guided rolling lesson accepts arrow keys. Undo reverses a move, Reset returns the selected cube to the tray, and Restart clears the current board.
Tips & Tricks
Inspect all six cube faces before choosing a route. Plan around other cubes and letters that will lock in place. Use a word hint for the clue and a cube hint for movement; hints and extra rolls do not reduce the daily fragment reward.
