Eggy Car

Eggy Car is a physics-based driving game from Beedo Games. You control a small car with a grinning egg balanced on the roof and steer it across rolling hills, steep drops and sudden jumps. The goal is simple: travel as far as possible without letting the egg fall. One bad landing cracks it, the run ends and the distance counter resets. Unlike a racing game, Eggy Car is about throttle control rather than top speed. Accelerate too hard on a climb and the egg tips backwards; rush a descent and it rolls forward off the roof. Every slope asks for a different rhythm of short taps and patient climbs, which is why the "just one more run" loop is hard to put down. Coins are scattered along the route. You spend them in the garage on new cars, and each vehicle handles differently: some feel quicker, others sit lower and hold the egg more securely. A freeze pickup appears on some stretches and holds the egg in place for a few seconds, which is often the difference between a clean jump and scrambled eggs. Press Play on the title screen, read the How to Play board, then tap Continue to start the run. Use D or the right arrow to accelerate forward, and A or the left arrow to accelerate backward. On a phone or tablet, tap the on-screen pedals at the bottom of the screen. Watch the RPM and BOOST dials as you climb. Steady throttle carries you up a hill, while a burst of speed is better for clearing a gap or a crest. Collect coins along the route, then spend them from the CAR menu on the title screen to unlock new vehicles. Keep the egg on the roof. If it falls and cracks, the run is over and the distance you reached is shown above the track.

Keyboard: D or right arrow accelerates forward; A or left arrow accelerates backward. Touch: the on-screen right pedal accelerates forward, the left pedal reverses. Mouse: the on-screen pedals can be clicked on desktop as well. The game is single-player and uses only these two inputs - there is no separate jump or brake button. Tap rather than hold. Short presses keep the egg settled; holding the accelerator through a crest is the usual way to lose it. Reverse before a steep climb. Backing up a little gives you room to build speed instead of stalling halfway up. Ease off early on descents. The egg keeps moving after the car slows, so cut the throttle before the ground drops away. Use speed for gaps, not for hills. A rolling start clears a jump; raw acceleration on an uphill mostly tips the egg over. Spend coins on a different car if you keep losing the egg. Vehicles do not handle the same, so try another one before grinding the same route. Restart straight after a crack. Early runs are cheap practice for reading the next slope.
