Wave Rider

Wave Rider is a fast-paced endless surfing game where you ride across the water on surfboards and jet skis while trying to travel as far as possible. The course is filled with hazards such as logs, rocks, holes, waterfalls, and other obstacles that demand quick reactions and precise steering. Your ride becomes faster as you progress, giving you less time to react to hazards ahead. Starfish scattered along the course act as in-game currency and can be collected to unlock additional surfboards and jet skis. Since colliding with an obstacle ends the run, deciding when a starfish is worth the risk is an important part of surviving longer and setting a new distance record.

Your objective is to travel as far as possible across the water without crashing into an obstacle. The ride continues endlessly until a collision ends your run. Steer left and right to avoid logs, rocks, holes, waterfalls, and other hazards. Use jumps to clear obstacles and navigate sections where staying on the surface is unsafe. Your speed gradually increases as you travel farther, so obstacles become harder to avoid as the run continues. Collect starfish whenever you can do so safely. Starfish serve as in-game currency and can be used to unlock different surfboards and jet skis. Avoid risking a strong run for a difficult pickup when the path around it is dangerous. There is no fixed finish line. Keep riding, improve your distance, collect more starfish, and try to beat your previous best run.

Look ahead at upcoming obstacles instead of focusing only on your board. Avoid chasing every starfish; surviving longer is more valuable than risking a run for one difficult pickup. Use smooth steering adjustments as your speed increases instead of making sudden corrections. Jump early enough to clear hazards rather than waiting until the obstacle is directly in front of you. Be especially careful around logs, rocks, holes, and waterfalls because a collision can immediately end your run. Expect the ride to become progressively faster and adjust your reaction timing accordingly. Save starfish to unlock additional surfboards and jet skis and experiment with the different available rides.
