El SOL SE MUERE ("The Sun Is Dying") is a Spanish-language survival game by Tm Mort O built in Godot, structured around a piece of music.
Your light meter is your life. The goal: keep it from reaching 0% until the song finishes. Light-restoring spheres appear across the map for you to collect, while hazardous particles drift in that will cut your percentage down fast.
Movement is WASD, and Space performs a dash that itself spends a percentage of your light — so even your escape tool is a wager against the dark. The developer notes (with charm) that no sound effects were added so the track can be enjoyed on its own.
How to Play
Move around the map collecting light spheres to keep your percentage above zero until the song ends. Dodge the drifting particles that drain your light in big chunks, and use the dash sparingly — it buys you distance but costs you light every time.
Controls
WASD – move
Space – dash (spends a percentage of your light)
Tips & Tricks
The dash is a loan, not a gift — each use pushes you closer to the game-over threshold.
Plan a route between sphere spawns instead of chasing them reactively.
Particles drain "mucho" — treat any cluster as no-go space unless the light on the other side is worth it.
Music is the timer: learn the song's length and pace your risks to it.
Features
Music-length survival: outlast the song
Light meter as health — never let it hit 0%
Light spheres to collect, draining particles to avoid
Dash mechanic that costs light to use
