Why we're featuring Felisomnia: Behind a Cat's Eyes
Felisomnia wears its survivors-genre influence openly, but the memory-fragment story gives every horde a reason to exist — the enemies here are literally pieces of anxiety, chaos and absence. That mix of cozy cat energy, melancholy writing and mechanical build-crafting makes it a standout alpha on PlayBloo, and one worth revisiting as updates land.
About Felisomnia: Behind a Cat's Eyes
Felisomnia: Behind a Cat's Eyes opens with Brite, a cat who wakes in a strange limbo with fire in his paws and gaps in his memory. What follows is a survivors-style action game with a story underneath: fight through growing hordes, shape your build during each run and eventually face Acci, the Rat King.
Combat mixes bullet-heaven build progression with bullet-hell boss patterns. Your attacks fire automatically while you reposition, dodge and time your Q and E abilities; between fights you pick upgrades and spend run-earned KIBBLE at merchants on weapons, defenses and available fusions. Keyboard, mouse and gamepad are all supported, and you can play free in the browser or download the matching Windows alpha.
The story is where Felisomnia sets itself apart. Every cat in Felisomnia got lost in a different way, and each stage is a fragment of a memory shared between a cat and its human — the enemies are pieces of that memory: anxiety, chaos, absence. Clearing a stage doesn't mean fixing everything; it means learning to bear the weight of the memory enough to carry it forward. Each playable cat brings a different story, powers and fragility.
This is an alpha release (0.4.71), so expect bugs and some temporary sprites, with updates rolling out over time.
How to Play
Move, dodge and position while your attacks fire on their own, then use your Q and E abilities at the right moments. Pick upgrades as you level, spend KIBBLE at merchants on weapons, defenses and fusions, and learn each boss's patterns — starting with Acci, the Rat King. Dialogue moments introduce the story as you play.

Tips & Tricks
Spend KIBBLE at merchants before pushing deeper — weapons, defenses and fusions compound over a run.
Boss fights are pattern fights: watch Acci's tells instead of trying to tank hits.
Each playable cat has different powers and builds, so expect to relearn your build when you switch characters.
