About Kenzu: Shadow and Light
Kenzu: Shadow and Light follows a warrior reconnecting with the legacy of seven Kato clans as his world falls into chaos. This metroidvania combines exploration with close combat, bosses and a hand-painted world. Weapons, skills, charms and upgrades support different builds.
The current early-access release offers roughly one hour of play. The advertised eight-to-ten-hour campaign is a goal for the full game, not the length of the available browser build. Some artwork and interface elements remain unfinished. The team recommends downloading for better visual effects and controller compatibility; browser gamepad support varies.
How to Play
Explore the available areas, fight enemies with slashes and parries, and use the map to track your progress. Unlock new tools as you advance, including shuriken and kunai, and adjust your build with the upgrades you find. Use concentration to heal when you have an opportunity.
