BENs_Playground knows exactly what it is: a fan love letter to Creepypasta lore that uses your own browser against you. The short run time and eight endings make it an easy Halloween-night curiosity, and the self-aware, rough-edged charm is part of the fun. Keep the pop-up blocker off — and the lights on, if you prefer.
About BENs_Playground
While browsing the internet on Halloween, you stumble upon a bizarre program that seems to have been left behind for years by someone named BEN. Should you continue to explore…? That question is the whole premise of BENs_Playground, IJustWannaHaveFunn's fan-made Visual Novel / RPG Maker game.
You get to hang out with three "lovely" Creepypasta characters while something is clearly wrong with the place. The developer highly recommends watching the intro video on the itch page before starting, and warns that pop-up windows are part of the experience — disable your pop-up blocker.
It's a compact horror diversion: four normal endings, four secret endings, and around 20-30 minutes of playtime — plus a bench to sit on and a save point doggy to pet. The page lists its content warnings up front: flashing lights, slight blood/gore, swear words, character death, and graphic depictions of violence.
As the page notes, the browser version works but may load slower and hit bugs; the downloadable Windows build is smoother. This is an unofficial fan project and the developer's first RPG Maker game — streaming and videos are welcome, as long as assets aren't reused or sold.
How to Play
Explore the strange program, talk with its residents, and make choices that branch toward four normal endings and four secret endings. Watch the intro video on the itch page first, and allow pop-up windows — some moments happen outside the game window.

See the original itch.io page for the developer's control notes.
Tips & Tricks
Watch the intro video on the itch page before starting — the developer highly recommends it.
Save often; with eight endings total, cheap backtracking is what makes the secret routes findable.
If the browser build feels slow or buggy, the page suggests the Windows download for a smoother run.
