Trauma Lab is an anatomy and physics sandbox built around a single test subject. Shoot, stab, burn or poison him, then look under the skin to see exactly what happened — or put the tools down and try to keep him alive.
Every shot is tracked through the body it hits, from a fractured rib to a perforated lung to a severed aorta. X-ray layers let you peel back skin, muscle, organs, arteries and veins, bones and nerves, and inspect the damage layer by layer.
Vitals react in real time. Heart rate, blood pressure, SpO2 and blood loss shift as the subject bleeds, and shock, cardiac arrest and bleed-out all show up on the monitor. The medicine and surgery toolkit covers bandages, tourniquets, drugs and chemistry, with a Simple or a Complex surgery mode, and a set of powers — lightning, fireball, freeze, acid, black hole and more — sits alongside the weapons.
Two modes are offered. Sandbox gives free play with every weapon, tool, chemical and power, while Keep Him Alive puts ten real emergencies in front of you with medicine only. The browser build runs on PC and phone.
Content warning: graphic injury, blood and medical detail. Intended for players 18+.
How to Play
Choose a weapon or tool, aim at the test subject and fire — the trajectory is simulated through everything it passes on the way in. Switch to the X-ray layers to see where a bullet actually ended up, then stabilise the patient with bandages, tourniquets, drugs or surgery before shock, cardiac arrest or blood loss takes over. In Keep Him Alive you get medicine only, so plan each of the ten emergencies before it lands.
Controls
Mouse – select tools, aim and fire (the interface is mouse-driven in the official screenshots)
See the original itch.io page for the developer's control notes.
Tips & Tricks
Open the X-ray layers early; seeing exactly where a round stopped is faster than guessing from the outside.
Blood loss kills faster than any single wound, so a tourniquet buys more time than a bandage.
Shock, cardiac arrest and bleed-out are separate failures — watch the monitor, not just the wound.
In Keep Him Alive the medicine-only rule means you should have the right tool ready before the emergency starts.
Simple surgery stabilises; Complex surgery is what you need when the injury is worse than a surface wound.
