F1 Reaction Time Test

ReactionMetric’s five-light challenge turns a racing-style start sequence into a short browser reaction game. Five red lights illuminate in sequence; react only after they all switch off. Early inputs count as false starts and the attempt is replayed. A session needs five valid starts and reports median reaction time, best launch, consistency and false starts. History stays in the current browser. This is an independent entertainment simulation, not an official Formula 1 or FIA timing service; device and display latency affect the measured result.

Start a five-start session. Watch the lights and wait through the changing hold after the fifth light. Respond when every light goes out. Repeat until five valid attempts are complete, then review the session results or share a challenge.

React to the visual change instead of counting down: the hold is randomized. Compare medians on the same device and input method. Treat an unusually fast isolated click cautiously and aim for repeatable starts.
