It's Risk distilled down to one button and one die roll, and the streak mechanics make every safe war tempting and every bold one a story. Geography nerds get a bonus layer — knowing which neighbors are small actually matters here. Portrait-friendly, quick to learn and surprisingly tense once you're two hearts deep with an empire to defend.
About Last Flag Standing
Last Flag Standing turns the world map into a dice battle. Pick your country and roll the dice against your neighbors: win and you take their land, your flag spreading across the map. The question the game keeps asking is how many countries you can conquer before you fall.
Your power comes from 3 dice multiplied by your power stat, which grows with your population (all those conquered people count) and your win streak. Defeat has a cost but not a catastrophe: you lose a heart — you get 3 — yet you keep your land. Climbing the ranks from Rising Nation to Regional Power, Empire and Superpower grants an extra heart and more power at each step, and tiny countries get a red rally die to help them punch above their weight.
All 196 real countries are on the board, and conquering the entire world is genuinely hard: fewer than 1 in 1,000 runs manage it. Weekly and all-time leaderboards track the best runs. The game is based on the Last Flag Standing map battle series (787K+ views, a new episode daily on TikTok, YouTube, Instagram and Facebook), plays in 10 languages, and a bigger version with a world at war, armies and alliances is in development.
How to Play
Pick a country, then roll your dice against a neighbor to attack. Wins transfer land and grow your population-powered dice pool; losses cost a heart but keep your territory. Chain wins to climb ranks (Rising Nation → Regional Power → Empire → Superpower), manage your 3 hearts, and chase a full-world conquest for the leaderboard.
Controls
Mouse – pick your country, choose a neighbor and roll the dice
Tips & Tricks
Win streaks feed your power, so pick fights you're sure to win early rather than gambling on a big neighbor.
Starting as a tiny country isn't a handicap — the red rally die compensates for your small population.
Hearts are your real currency: a bad roll at 1 heart ends the run, so retreat to safe targets to regroup.
