Rikochet by monemui is a 2D pixel art platformer built around one delicious mechanic: you have a ricochet gun.
Bullets bounce. That changes everything — enemies around corners are targets, the geometry itself is a weapon, and the aiming reticle becomes the most important thing on screen. The controls layer precision play on top: normal aim, a slow-motion aim mode for threading impossible shots, zoom control, a reload with a gun-swing flourish, and even a coin toss.
It's a short, punchy shooter-platformer with personality to spare (the page's own "How to not play D:" section just says Alt+F4). Free in the browser.
How to Play
Platform your way through the levels with A/D and Space, and use the ricochet gun to hit what you can't reach directly. Aim with the mouse, fire with the left button, and hold the right button for slow-motion aiming when a shot needs threading. Dash with Shift to cross gaps, reload with R, and toss a coin with E when the moment calls for it.
Controls
A / D – walk
Spacebar – jump
Shift – dash
Mouse – aim
M1 (left click) – shoot
M2 (right click) – aim with slow motion
M3 (scroll) – zoom in and out
R – reload and gun swing
E – coin toss
Tips & Tricks
Ricochet angles are the skill ceiling: fire at walls where the bounce sweeps enemy positions.
Slow-motion aim costs nothing — use it for every shot that isn't point-blank.
Dash cancels distance problems; save it for after a jump, not instead of one.
The zoom (scroll) helps you plan ricochet routes before committing.
