SHITle is a four-letter word ladder with the fixed target SHIT. Begin with the displayed word and change exactly one letter per move, keeping every accepted step in the game's dictionary. The title and target contain profanity. A shared daily start changes at midnight UTC, while Practice supplies additional starts. There is no timer or move limit. Aim to match par, calculated from the game's dictionary. Progress and daily statistics remain in your browser; no account or payment is required.

Read the starting word, enter a valid word differing in one position and submit it. Continue from your latest accepted word until reaching SHIT. Compare your move total with par. Rejected guesses do not add moves.

Type using a physical keyboard or the on-screen keyboard, then press Enter. Undo removes one accepted step; Reset restarts the ladder. Practice's New puzzle chooses another start.

Think backward from the target. Matching letters may change again if a detour helps. Undo a dead-end branch and test a different connection.
