VVVVVVV is a short fan game set in the world of the original VVVVVV, made in PICO-8. The crew of the DSS Souleye are recruiting new members, and you play as Cadet Vanilla while they navigate the Souleye's test course and try to earn their place onboard.
It is a compact tribute: 32 screens of gravity-flipping action, seven shiny trinkets to collect, built-in trackers for your time, your number of deaths and the total trinkets you have picked up, plus a standalone Gravitron Mode for showing off your skills. How to Play
Run the Souleye's test course as Cadet Vanilla: flip gravity to clear 32 screens, collect the seven trinkets scattered along the way, and finish with the best time you can manage. The built-in trackers show your time, death count and trinket total, and Gravitron Mode is a separate challenge mode to practise on.

Tips & Tricks
Collect the trinkets as you go — the tracker keeps a running total of the seven.
Flip gravity early rather than after a mistake; half the challenge is treating the ceiling as floor.
Use Gravitron Mode to warm up before chasing a time record on the main course.
