Upcoming

Phantom Blade Zero releases on October 29, 2026, on PlayStation 5 and Windows PC. The date has been fixed since preorders opened in August.

This is one global unlock, not a rolling regional release. The date difference is only a time-zone difference: Steam shows October 28 because its store page uses US Pacific time.

Preload started October 26

S-GAME opened preload at October 26, 7:00 PM PDT. The Chinese announcement describes it as an all-platform preload at October 27, 10:00 AM Beijing time, which is the same moment.

Preload only moves the download earlier. It does not unlock the game, and on PC it needs roughly double the final footprint in free space because the files are unpacked at launch. Our PC guide explains that requirement.

Platforms, editions and preorder bonuses

The launch platforms are PlayStation 5 and Windows PC, sold on Steam and the Epic Games Store. No Xbox or Nintendo Switch version has been announced.

On Steam's US store the Standard Edition is $59.99 and the Digital Deluxe Edition is $69.99; Chinese prices are ¥268 and ¥328. Preordering either edition early unlocks the Treasure Basin accessory, which raises Remnant Dust drop rate by 10%, and the Legacy outfit. The Digital Deluxe adds two more outfits, a digital artbook and the soundtrack.

A physical PS5 disc is planned for 2027, in standard, deluxe and collector editions. It is not part of the October launch.

Is there early access?

No. Neither edition includes early play. The preorder wording about unlocking content early refers to the Treasure Basin and Legacy items, which can also be earned through normal progression.

Because the unlock is simultaneous, a VPN or a different store region does not move your start time earlier. The countdown on your own store page is the authority if S-GAME changes anything at the last minute.
