Cattleship

Locate hidden cattle herds on a neighboring field by choosing squares for feed buckets. Unpinned herds periodically move, while limited cattle-dog searches report counts along a line. Position your own herds before alternating turns against the opposing farm. The moving herds distinguish the puzzle from static Battleship. The dog reports a line's remaining loose cows rather than revealing their exact positions, and placed buckets constrain later movement.

Arrange three hidden herds, then choose squares in the opposing field for feed buckets. Use the cattle dog's row or column search and pin moving herds until all are found.

Drag herds to position them; tap to rotate. Click/tap a target square. Use Send the Dog to choose a line search. P: pause.

Loose herds move every third round, so old deductions can change. Tagging one cow stops that herd; use the dog's limited searches to narrow an uncertain line.
