First Bid

First Bid is a strategy card game about an energy auction, still in development. Two companies face off across six rounds of sealed bids, each trying to out-guess the other without bleeding cash. Because bids are sealed, every round is a psychological puzzle: bid big and you win the contract but maybe at ruinous cost, bid low and you keep your money while handing the prize away. It's a compact duel of nerve for strategy fans.

Across six rounds, submit sealed bids against your rival for energy contracts. Win the contracts that matter while managing your budget — the winner is whoever allocates money better, not just who spends more.

Track how much your opponent has left — their later bids are capped by their wallet. Losing a cheap round on purpose can set up a decisive win later.
