Why we're featuring Game About Botting in an MMORPG
Half satire, half genuine idle game — the joke is that botting an MMO is more fun than playing one, and the bot-module tree makes a surprisingly good progression system out of it. If you've ever reported a gold farmer, playing one will feel deliciously transgressive.
About Game About Botting in an MMORPG
Game About Botting in an MMORPG is exactly what the title promises: a single-player idle RPG about becoming the bot problem. You start hunting manually — targeting enemies, drinking potions, casting spells — then sell the gold you farm to unlock Bot Modules that take over one chore at a time, until the whole MMORPG plays itself.
The current demo packs around an hour of content per class across Warrior, Mage and Hunter: six hunting grounds, six quests, crafting, a shop, player killers to watch out for, and seven bot modules to earn — Auto Loot, Auto Target, Auto Walk to Target, Auto Pot, Auto Cast, Auto Pathing and even an Auto Responder. A Bot Log narrates your automated exploits while you watch the grind run itself.
A fuller version lives on Steam, and the developer keeps updating this browser demo alongside it.
How to Play
Pick a class and hunt manually: left-click NPCs and enemies, drink potions with Q/E, cast spells with 1-4, and manage your inventory (I), skills (K) and passives (C). Sell the gold you farm to unlock Bot Modules that automate looting, targeting, walking, potioning, casting and pathing. Stack modules until the game plays itself, then try the next class.

Tips & Tricks

Watch for player killers while your bot runs; they're part of the demo's world.
