Why we're featuring The Community Notes Are Wrong

A confident character piece that uses its fandom-war premise for something sharper than melodrama — the community notes of the title are the least of what's wrong here. With two finished routes, it's one of the more complete free visual novels on itch right now: come for the romance, stay for the uncomfortable mirror it holds up.

About The Community Notes Are Wrong

Ayla Solace rose to fame through raw, emotional songs about the woman she loved, and her fans crowned her the perfect "lesbian icon." Her agency saw a brand that should stay easy to sell — and Ayla, whose bisexuality the label never accurately described, leaned into it to avoid disappointing her community and appease her ex-girlfriend. Then a quiet date with a male barista is caught on camera and goes viral. Suddenly publicly bisexual, Ayla must navigate the intense biphobia and scrutiny of a social media firestorm. The current release is substantial: two complete love-interest routes (Levi and Cheri) plus Romy's side story, 4-6 hours of play, a Good End and a Normal End per route, additional early-exit bad endings, and social media gameplay that affects your ending. Optional name customization and a toggle for the player sprite round it out. A third route (Jae), English voice acting and a Spanish translation are planned for 2027.

How to Play

Read through Ayla's story, make dialogue and social media choices, and steer the public firestorm around her coming-out. Your online activity shapes which ending you reach — each love interest offers a Good End and a Normal End, with early-exit bad endings along the way. If you played the older demo, start a fresh save file (you can skip the common route).

Tips & Tricks

Social media gameplay genuinely affects the ending — treat your posts like plot decisions. Each route has a Good End and a Normal End, with early exits possible, so keep multiple saves. Returning demo players can skip the common route on a fresh save file.
