An early, pleasantly meditative idle toy about quiet fungal conquest. It's thin right now — one screen, one loop — but offline growth is exactly the hook idle fans want, and the underground-network fantasy is a fresh skin for the genre.
About Underwood
Underwood puts you beneath the forest floor as a living fungus. Push threads into roots and fallen logs, harvest nutrients, and eventually fruit into entirely new forests.
It's a true idle game: your network keeps growing while you're away, so each short visit is about planting the next expansion and checking what ripened. The developer flags the art as AI-assisted, and this Godot build — portrait-oriented, browser-friendly — is an early version with more work in progress.
How to Play
Spread your fungus across the underground, grow threads into roots and logs to earn nutrients, and spend them to fruit new forests. Then leave — growth continues while you're away, so return regularly to expand the network.
