Incremental garden

Fit differently shaped plant patches onto a compact grid and make the available water last. This farming prototype rewards efficient layouts while plants and buildings compete for space.

Choose a plant patch, place it on the compact grid, and water through the placement input. Fit plants and buildings into the available space while managing water.

Left click: place plants/buildings; hold to water. Right click: cancel. 1–3: select a plant from the current three offers.

Check whether a shape leaves usable gaps before placing it. Water and grid space are both limited resources in the prototype.
