About Word Mash
Word Mash is a daily word puzzle from Bludle with a structural twist. You get two clues and up to six guesses. Solve both answers, then fuse them into a single word: the end of the first answer becomes the start of the second, and the shared letters are written only once — star and artist overlap on AR, giving STARTIST.
That makes it a two-layer puzzle: a likely answer is only useful when it also supports its neighbour, and every overlap has to make the whole chain work.
There is one puzzle per day, a typical round takes about three to five minutes, and your streak is saved in your browser. Finishing unlocks a shareable result. Free to play, no download.
How to Play
Read today’s two clues and work out both answers. Type the complete mash into the answer field, writing the overlapping letters once, then click or tap Check mash. You have up to six guesses; when the puzzle is complete, use Share result to post your run. Return daily to build your streak.
Controls
Type the answer into the on-screen field and click or tap Check mash. Use Share result after finishing.
Tips & Tricks
Solve the first clue, then test which of its endings could plausibly start the second answer.
The overlap is written once — STARTIST, not STARARTIST.
Six guesses leaves room to experiment: try a fusion early to test both clues at once.
