Wreckbox is a 2D cross-section building-destruction sandbox with real-time structural physics — the page bills it as demolition "с честным сопроматом", with the honest strength-of-materials that Russian engineering students grind through. Nothing is scripted: the game computes how weight passes from every cell down to the foundation, and whatever is overloaded cracks and collapses on its own.
There's no shortage of ways to bring a block down. Swing a sledgehammer or the wrecking ball, rig a professional controlled demolition that folds a building inward on itself, or undercut the soil and watch the house sink into the hole. When you want the whole city gone, escalate to earthquakes, tornadoes, meteor showers, lightning, black holes, or a nuclear bomb up to 50 megatons — flash shadows on the walls, a shockwave that flattens the skyline, then firestorm and radioactive fallout.
Materials behave like themselves: steel bends, rebar stretches and snaps, brick crumbles, glass rains down, and a falling pipe can break mid-air from the bending moment. Citizens are ragdolls that flee fire, hide, and take damage from real impact energy. It's all built for clips and streams, with separate volume sliders for explosions, ambience, and alerts, a recording mode, and hotkeys to hide the UI and slow time.
The whole game is about 1 MB of custom JavaScript engine (Canvas 2D + Web Audio) with every sound synthesized in code. The interface is in Russian, and Windows and Android builds are downloadable alongside the browser version.
How to Play
Pick a tool — sledgehammer, wrecking ball, dynamite, or controlled demolition — and start taking the block apart. Structures carry their own weight down to the foundation, so removing the right supports brings them down naturally; undercutting the soil works too. For full-city spectacle, unleash an earthquake, tornado, or nuke and watch the shockwave and firestorm spread. Use the hotkeys to stage the perfect shot for recording.

Tips & Tricks
Controlled demolition folds a building neatly inward on itself — far cleaner than a sledgehammer free-for-all.
Under-cut the soil beneath a house and let gravity do the demolition for you.
Press H to hide the interface and T for slow motion when capturing footage.
The developer hints there are a couple of secrets behind the ~ key.
