Most idle games only ask how big your number should get; Legendum asks who you were when you got it. The generational memory — a spared goblin returning as a trader — is the standout hook, and with a 4.6 rating on itch it is one of the strongest debuts we have listed in this genre. The demo's two origins are enough to feel the loop; wishlist it if the full version's promise lands for you the way it did for us.
About Legendum
Legendum is an incremental idle RPG about becoming a legend one lifetime at a time. You start as a nobody in a fantasy world and live a full life — young and sharp at first, slower of body as the years wear on while your skills remain — and when that life is done, another begins, in a world your previous deeds shaped. Spare a goblin in one life and you may meet that same goblin as a trader in the next.
The systems stack neatly on top of that idea. Combat is an idle horde fight where your build matters: an armored knight, a ranger striking from afar, or a powerful wizard, outfitted however you equip them. Between battles you manage a daily schedule — the page's example is a farmhand who studies a holy text at dawn, tends the fields by day and unwinds in the tavern at night. The world itself is your skill tree: your chronicle is a branching web of places, people and secrets, some paths visible from the start and others hidden until you explore. And underneath it all runs a story that spans generations, with each life pulling back another layer of a dark plot that one of them will finish.
This browser version is a demo of a full game planned for Steam, and it currently offers two origins — Farmhand and the work-in-progress Scholar. It is rated 4.6 out of 5 on itch.io, and the developer is actively collecting feedback through a form and a Discord server.
How to Play
Choose an origin for your life — in the demo, Farmhand or Scholar — then split each day between training, work and rest while your idle horde battles resolve on their own. Explore the chronicle to open new paths, make choices that the next life will inherit, and see how far your legend climbs before old age catches up.

Tips & Tricks
Treat the daily schedule as your build: what a farmhand does at dawn compounds over a lifetime.
Some chronicle paths stay hidden until you explore, so push past the obvious branches.
Choices echo forward — the goblin you spare today can be the trader who sells to you next life.
