Horror without a monster: the antagonist is an empty room and a ringing phone. Borrowing the premise of Japanese TV's cruelest experiment gives it a documentary dread most PSX-style horror games have to fake. Play it slow, ideally with the lights off.
About NASUBI
NASUBI is a psychological endurance simulation inspired by Susunu! Denpa Shōnen, the legendary late-90s Japanese reality experiment that kept a man isolated for months in front of the nation. You're the contestant this time: trapped in an empty room with no personal belongings, no provisions and no human contact, your sole connection to the outside world is an analog rotary phone.
It plays as a slow-burn idle experience — incremental upgrades and a gacha system layered over the isolation — in a deliberately lo-fi PSX-style 3D presentation. Subtitles and an interactive tutorial are built in, and both English and Russian text are available.
The browser build works, but the developer recommends downloading the desktop version for better performance.
How to Play
Survive in the empty room: move with WASD, interact with E, crouch with C, pause with ESC. The rotary phone is your only lifeline to the outside — endure, unlock incremental upgrades, and hold out as long as you can.
Controls
Move – WASD
Interact – E
Crouch – C
Pause / Resume – ESC
Tips & Tricks
The desktop build runs noticeably better than the browser version.
Idle by design: the room tests patience, so don't rush it.
Subtitles and an interactive tutorial are there if you get stuck.
