About Second Sight
Second Sight is a daily colour-perception game from Bludle that turns colour memory into ten quick comparisons. Each round shows you one colour, erases it behind a blank interval, then shows a second. Nothing is ever displayed side by side — you decide from memory whether the second colour became lighter, darker, more vivid, more muted, or shifted toward red, green, yellow or blue.
The daily set runs ten rounds and takes about three to five minutes. Early comparisons are obvious; later ones make the change shorter, quieter and separated by a longer pause. Every answer reveals both colours together and explains the exact dimension that moved, so wrong turns become useful calibration.
It is a perceptual memory game, not a medical vision test — display settings and ambient light change how colours appear. It plays free in the browser with no download; the page carries ads.
How to Play
Open the daily board and press Show the colours. Study the first colour, hold it through the blank pause, then compare it with the second from memory. Choose the one thing that changed from eight options — lighter, darker, more vivid, more muted, redder, greener, yellower or bluer. Review the side-by-side reveal, move to the next comparison, and work through all ten rounds to finish the daily challenge.
Controls
Click or tap the on-screen buttons: Show the colours, the eight answer choices and Next comparison. When the answer panel is open, number keys 1-8 select the matching option.
Tips & Tricks
Trust your first impression — the reference disappears before you decide.
Separate the three dimensions in your head: how bright, how saturated, and which way the hue leans.
Later rounds make the change shorter and pause longer, so slow down before the final comparisons.
Use each reveal to calibrate: the explanation names the exact dimension that moved.
