Amber Forest

Amber Forest is an in-development roguelike deckbuilder following Aspen, a young elf trying to reach the forest through hostile creatures. Its illustrated presentation draws on manga, while the developer cites Slay the Spire and Inscryption as influences. The current demo includes skill cards, animals with individual abilities, varied enemies and an initial boss encounter. Relics, consumables, route selection, multiple acts and metaprogression are listed as future plans, so they are not part of this description of the available build. English and Russian are supported. The developer recommends a Chromium-based browser and notes that the web build can be less stable than the desktop version.

Build a deck using the available skills and animals. Read their abilities and consider how they work together against each enemy. Progress through encounters and use the first boss fight to test your understanding of the deck.
