Pawnstorm

Pawnstorm presents standard chess on a bright three-dimensional board. Play increasingly capable computer opponents or take turns with a friend on the same device. Legal destinations appear when selecting a piece, and check is highlighted. Castling, en passant, promotion and standard draw conditions are supported. Hints and takebacks assist learning, while winning without them earns three stars. A material display helps track exchanges.

Select a piece, then a marked destination. Protect your king and develop toward checkmate. Resolve check immediately. Promote pawns reaching the far rank; use the hint bulb or undo when needed.

Desktop: Click pieces and destinations; Ctrl+Z undoes; Escape returns to the menu. Mobile: Tap pieces and squares. Choose Two players for shared-device matches.

Develop minor pieces, secure your king by castling, and check the opponent's latest threat before moving. Use the material display to evaluate exchanges.
